Our Vision
Andrew Mendoza began his career as a jeweler in 1976 under the watchful eye of his older brother Johnny. Andrew and his brother worked together for many years as Andrew's technique and expertise matured.
Andrew's desire to continue increasing his knowledge led him to further study stone setting and jewelry manufacture.
in 1982 Andrew and Johnny went into business as The Goldsmith in Fort Worth. They worked together for 15 years, earning a reputation as excellent jewelers in casting, carving and fine jewelry and watch repair.
In 1997 Andrew opened Hurst Gold & Silver. Soon he began to build upon his reputation with custom handcrafted fine jewelry that he continues to make this very day.
